Living together with you would be a life that would be never dull. I would love to take you on vacations and relax in the sun for me, and in the cooler regions for you. I would enjoy walking in the woods (as we know) walking through the town and shopping with you. Having Long lazy days collapsed on the sofa listening to music and chatting about the first thing that comes into our heads. Doing DIY together painting, building wardrobes watching you sculpt something or draw, encouraging you to fulfil your passions.
So which, or Witch
Kitchen
do I prefer. To be honest the smaller one. To my mind in any Kitchen
you should be able to reach anything you need within 3 steps in any
direction. What is most important in any Kitchen is to have plenty of
power points. These days there is so much electrical stuff that most
kitchens do not have enough plugs. I also believe that worktops should
be made of marble as it is easy to clean and is great for pastry and
will not stain or get burnt. What is also important is to have plenty of
light especially above the worktops. There is nothing worse than
working in your own shadow. Finally light pastel colours are best and
the walls and units need to be easy clean with a great extraction unit.
In terms of appliances it should have a dish washer an induction hob,
Fan oven and a steamer. (Hello Mr Practical Muffin Man!
)
Kitchens should always be the centre of the home and very often at a
party the Kitchen always attracts the best people and conversations.
Ikea do some very good kitchens, plus they have some great
furniture ideas for small apartments etc. This is something we should do
when I am next over. We should go and look at some furniture shops and
see what we like in all rooms of a home. I would guess we have similar
tastes, but we will have to find out. Basically I am not too fussy, but I
do like high backed sofa's. Ref colours, that would be your department,
however I do express opinions. I do love your colours in your apartment
(No Idea what they were exactly, but seemed to fit well!), so I do not
think we will have a problem.
You are right that we must communicate on broader subjects and this
is what I want to do, but was not sure which door to open. I told you I
need leading, but once led, I can run off at full pace on most
subjects. (Apart from Art, music, Films etc.)
...
You have a very romantic perception of a Kitchen. With the Black and white floor but that is fine I love black and white, saves on the colour problem. :)
